Claude Drouin
Claude owned his own practice in Loughborough for more than 25 years and is an experienced vet (DVM, MRCVS). He passionately believes that the most humane end to life, which we would all wish for, is to die peacefully in our own home. ​His domiciliary service provides for your beloved pet. You are encouraged to be present throughout.

At first telephone contact, Claude will talk through the situation with you. Then, at the beginning of the visit Claude will help you be sure that you have arrived at the right decision for you and your pet. He will then explain the process and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you wish.
His two stage protocol uses and anaesthetic as a first injection, so the animal gradually drifts to sleep, giving you the chance to provide comfort. The animal is then unaware of the second euthanasia injection and completely stress free.

You, your family and your friends will always remember your last hours with your loved one. You want them to be caring and dignified for everyone present and the one you are saying goodbye to.
Claude passionately believes that the best possible place is where they are surrounded by the sounds, smells and people that they have spent their life with. In their own bed, in their favourite space.
After the initial anaesthetic injection, Claude encourages everyone to comfort their pet while they gently drift to sleep. Cuddles and whispers will make them feel peaceful and loved.
Claude will be with you on this difficult journey and help you understand it all the way.
Pricing and Map Coverage
There is no travel charge within the prescribed area (see map).
Visits outside this area can be arranged, call for details.​

All euthanasia services starting from £270 for a cat or small dog.
Communal cremation charges start from £150. Individual cremation and your individual requirements, such as a choice of casket, can be met so please ask for a quotation.
